Tiger Woods returns in the Bahamas for the 2023 Hero World Challenge.

Tiger Woods will return to the golf course after a seven-month hiatus.

This coming weekend, the 15-time major champion will play golf again at the 2023 Hero World Challenge in Albany,

Bahamas. As part of his TGR Ventures, Woods also serves as the tournament’s host.

The event, which is scheduled for Nov. 30-Dec. 3, is not part of the PGA Tour and will feature a field of 20 players over

the weekend. Jordan Spieth, Max Homa, Viktor Hovland, and Scottie Scheffler are among the players.

Since the 2023 Masters in April, when he made the cut but had to withdraw before the third round owing to a relapse of

his plantar fasciitis, this will be Woods’ first professional golf event.

Tiger Woods: is he retired?
Woods has a long history of injuries, but he hasn’t made any announcements about his retirement or farewell tour

from the professional game of golf. After undergoing ankle surgery to treat his post-traumatic arthritis after the Masters,

there was talk that he might retire, but his return to the Bahamas suggests he plans to try to carry on with his career.

In the near future, Woods will participate in other tournaments. Woods will play in two tournaments in three weekends

when he and his son Charlie compete in the PNC Championship at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida on December 16–17.

New caddie for Tiger Woods Who will accompany Woods as his caddie when he starts the course on November 30 is a mystery.

Since 2011, Joe LaCava has served as Woods’ caddie. However, after Woods underwent surgery and it was unclear when he would

return, LaCava took on the role of full-time caddie for Patrick Cantlay, a player on the PGA Tour. Woods gave LaCava permission

to cover Cantlay while he was out of the game.

Who will be on the bag for Woods in the Bahamas has not been announced.

How about Tiger Woods’ league of indoor golfers?

The SoFi Center dome, which served as the host venue for TGL matches on the Palm Beach State College campus while it was still

under construction, deflated on November 14, severely hurting the prospects of the new TGL indoor golf league, which was slated

to launch on January 9, 2024, and starring Woods and Rory McIlroy.

The league made the decision to delay play until early 2025 as a result.
