Just In: Michigan Football Releases Injury Report For…….

INDIA — Michigan is in Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship for the third consecutive year. The Big Ten West

champion Iowa Hawkeyes will play the Michigan Wolverines for the second time in three years.

Despite a demanding 12-game schedule, Michigan, who finished the regular season undefeated for the second consecutive

year, has been incredibly healthy. The only other injury from a week ago was cornerback Will Johnson, who was observed

with a wrap on his leg on the sidelines. Starting guard Zak Zinter suffered a leg injury and will miss the remainder of the

season for the Wolverines.

Prior to the B1G Championship game against Iowa, Michigan released its injury report, and Johnson is listed as questionable,

so it looks like he might try to play. Drake Nugent, the starting center against the Hawkeyes, is also listed as doubtful.

If Johnson suits up and takes part in the warm-up but doesn’t play against Iowa unless Michigan really needs him, don’t be shocked.

Jimmy Rolder, a linebacker for Michigan, is the other player who has been ruled out against Iowa besides Zinter.
