OFFICER NEWS: Two Major Players from Ipswich town to MISS……

Kieran McKenna, the manager of Ipswich Town, on Marcus Harness and Janoi Donacien.

After defeating Peterborough last Saturday, the Blues are leading the League One standings going into Adams Park, but they have a weak team because of a slew of injuries.

With an ankle injury, Janoi Donacien left the game early in the Posh triumph. He will be evaluated before the match, and manager Kieran McKenna acknowledged that he and his staff had to shield several players as they recovered from their own knocks.

Regarding Donacien, McKenna remarked, “It’s not very serious but, as for the weekend, we don’t know yet.”
“He has been working alone today, Thursday, and the plan is to train tomorrow to see how he recovers, and then we’ll consider Saturday.”

McKenna responded, “We’ve had a few on full stretch – that’s the reality of the situation for the last few weeks,” when asked if Town was experiencing any new issues. We have been training in small groups, protecting a select few players, and making the most of the training week to not only practice but also to ensure that everyone is as correct as possible.

“It will be necessary to make decisions about availability and fitness tomorrow (Friday). We’ll see how things go after our final training session.
