Judd Trump said that all current snooker records will be broken

All but one snooker records, in Judd Trump’s opinion, will be broken.

Judd Trump thinks that all current snooker records—aside from Ronnie O’Sullivan’s fastest-ever 147 break—will soon be surpassed.

Among other achievements in the sport, O’Sullivan holds the records for century breaks (1,107) and ranking titles (37) although Stephen Hendry continues the lead with seven World Championship titles.

O’Sullivan hasn’t been able to overtake Hendry since he won his seventh Crucible title in 1999. He won his sixth world title the previous year and lost to Anthony McGill in the second round of the current tournament.

Though Hendry’s record of World Championships has so far been unmatched, and Trump is certain that all those benchmarks will be met, the Rocket will need some catching up in terms of ranking titles and centuries.

O’Sullivan’s world record time for a maximum break, established at the 1997 World Championship, is the one that Judd cannot see being surpassed.

In the second round at the Crucible, the Rocket earned his moniker by stopping Mick Price in 5 minutes and 8 seconds.

In addition to being extremely quick coming from O’Sullivan, Trump feels that modern referees aren’t quick enough to equal that record.

Trump responded, “It’s so hard to say, there’s always somebody that comes along out of nowhere in every single sport and surprises you,” when asked if any player would break Hendry’s World Championship record.

“Someone will come along eventually, and I believe there is only one record in snooker that will never be broken.”

beaten and that’s Ronnie’s maximum time.

‘I don’t think that will ever be beaten. Partly because of how quick he was but partly because the refs move a lot slower nowadays, I think.
