Ali carter Reported that the withdrawn of Ronnie O’Sullivan will case….

Ali Carter is excited to play with opponent Ronnie O’Sullivan in the first-ever Riyadh Season World Masters of Snooker.

The Rocket is already confirmed to attend the three-day event, but he is now far from assured a slot.

The World Snooker Tour revealed earlier this month that March will mark the inaugural event in Saudi Arabia.

The top eight players in the world following the Players Championship will qualify, it has since been verified.

Two wildcard players will also compete on March 4 against the seventh and eighth-ranked players in the first round.

In order to move up the rankings and gain enough qualification points, Carter, who is ranked 11th right now, will need to perform well at the German Masters this week as well as the forthcoming Welsh Open and Players Championship.

In his first match in Berlin on Monday, the 44-year-old prevailed 5-4 over Michael White.

Reacting, he expressed his happiness at starting the game with a victory: “I was happy to dig in and grab the win.

“Since winning here in Yushan last year, I’ve advanced to three major finals: the Masters and the Players Championship.

This season, I’m competing in both the Players Championship and, ideally, the Tour Championship. Everything is OK, although winning does have ramifications.”

Carter went on to say that his goal is to automatically qualify for the Riyadh tournament by any means necessary.

“Everyone is chasing down a place in Riyadh now,” he continued. That is going to be a really exciting event to be a part of. I’m hoping to gain enough points to replace you.”
