Jack Harrison and Two other to terminate their if Everton failed to..

Jack Harrison joined Everton as their fourth summer acquisition as the Blues exercised a right to an initial season-long loan from Leeds United.

After the Yorkshire club was relegated from the Premier League in May, Kevin Thelwell made the 26-year-old wide player a target for the close season. Everton increased their efforts to get him, and the trade was completed quickly despite a last-minute scare from Aston Villa.

After learning that the player’s minor hip injury is expected to keep him out of action until after next month’s international break and possibly into October, the Midlanders reportedly changed their minds. The Midlanders had pounced late on Sunday afternoon to agree terms with Leeds as well. They had even scheduled a medical.

Harrison traveled to Merseyside on Sunday, completed a satisfactory physical, and was introduced as an Everton player on Monday following The Athletic’s late Sunday night confirmation of the temporary move.
