Jaxon Smith-Njigba say there is only one thing keeping me in Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks need Jaxon Smith-Njigba to be “really coming of age,” and he is.

When asked on his Seattle Sports radio show on Tuesday if offensive coordinator Shane Waldron and quarterback Geno Smith are starting to learn how to use all the tools available to them, Pete Carroll burst out laughing.

In essence, the query was a follow-up to an exchange that had taken place on that radio station on Nov. 24, the day before Thanksgiving’s Week 12 loss for the Seattle Seahawks to the San Francisco 49ers. Carroll acknowledged in that interview that Seattle was struggling with having too many offensive players. However, the coach never thought the Seahawks lacked player awareness. He just thought they ought to be more adept at it.
