Two Charlotte hornets player have an accident today

Phills was died in an automobile accident in Charlotte, North Carolina, on January 12, 2000, while he was a member of the Charlotte Hornets. When Phills’ Porsche spun and into oncoming traffic, he was nearly 100 mph (160 km/h) behind teammate David Wesley.

Police say the other automobile was rear-ended by a minivan. The driver of the other car, Robert Woolard Jr., 31, of Cornelius, was listed as in stable condition at Presbyterian Hospital;
