joel piroe engaged his childhood girlfriend.

Since then, people have grown accustomed to his celebrations, which include a heart shape a la Gareth Bale or hugging him tightly like a telephone.

“The phone one I created a long time ago with some friends,” Piroe explains. “The heart one is for my family because they are sometimes angry when they say I forget them.”

Because she plays for PSV, girlfriend and fellow football player Naomi Pattiwael has not moved to Wales, but she is part of the family, according to Piroe.

“She is really good – a right winger, but sometimes she plays as striker as well,” Piroe continues. She usually claims to be faster than me, but I don’t think she is. She is incredibly fast.

“And I have to say I am the best finisher!”

Between Swansea’s short on Early in the Martin period, Sgoals’ success has been mostly attributed to Piroe’s skill in front of goal.

With a team now ranked 19th in the table, there is still work to be done. This club advanced to the Championship play-off final last season.

The next game will be more important than merely a three-pointer since Cardiff City, the neighbors, will be in town.

“It’s interesting because my teammates and some of the staff guys start smiling whenever I mention the game versus Cardiff. You can sense some fire in their eyes; they are delighted,” adds Piroe.

Piroe is the one who grinned when his music was mentioned.

If he scores, the celebrations will be very happy, at least in Swansea.
