Scottish-born Gordon David Strachan, OBE (/ˈstraexən/), was a football player and coach before retiring on February 9, 1957. In addition to the Scotland national team, he played for Dundee, Aberdeen, Manchester United, Leeds United, and Coventry City. Since then, he has managed Scotland, Middlesbrough, Southampton, Celtic, and Coventry City.

After a rocky start to the season, former Leeds United player Gordon Strachan has predicted that his former team will “get over the embarrassment of relegation.”

Early on in his tenure at Elland Road, Daniel Farke has had to deal with a number of difficulties as players came and went until the deadline, which wasn’t reached for weeks into the new campaign.
