Celtic want to sign ‘exceptional’ Premier League player who just suffered big FA Cup upset

As the season comes to an end and the race for the league title gets closer than ever, injuries and bad transfer window decisions have severely hurt Celtic’s chances of winning.

While Brendan Rodgers has had to cope with some terrible luck in regards to

players being placed on the injured list, recruiting is a completely different story.

For absurdly high prices, Celtic has signed far too many players who are obviously not good enough.

And they might be on the verge of doing so. Hugo Bueno, the left-back for Wolves, is reportedly the target of a second effort by Celtic, according to a TEAMtalk report.

Brendan Rodgers appears to be trying to make a bid for the 20-year-old in the summer after Celtic’s January effort to get him on loan was unsuccessful.

Bueno recently experienced heartbreak in the FA Cup after believing he had put Wolves ahead 2-1 against Coventry with a goal in the 88th minute of the match.
