Auburn DL target Dimitry Nicolas to announce commitment Friday

Three-star prospect Dimitry Nicolas, a defensive lineman, is prepared to declare his pledge. He has pushed back his commitment date to Friday and will choose between Pittsburgh, Miami, Florida, Auburn, and Miami.

Nicolas responded, “Yeah, I’m just trying to get it out of the way,” to Christian Clemente of Auburn Undercover. “I’m prepared.”

During Big Cat Weekend, Nicolas visited Auburn, and he stated that the reason Auburn is in his final group is because they have treated him “more like family than a player.”

In the 247Sports Composite ranking, he is ranked No. 54 defensive lineman and No. 545 overall player. The No. 74 player from Florida is also an Opa Locka product.

If he chooses Auburn, he will join four-star recruits TJ Lindsey and Malik Blocton as the team’s 17th commit overall and third defensive line commit.
